These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Midway Family Pharmacy's Website, located at www.midwayfamilypharmacy.com.au. By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to our Company. "Party", "Parties", or "Us", refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Placing Orders

Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email for your records. Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our order to sell. In certain circumstances, we may need to reject your order, including but not limited to where the requested product is not available, or if there is an error in the price or product description posted on the website. We will endeavour to notify you of that rejection at the time you place the order or within a reasonable time after you submit your order. Midway Family Pharmacy reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. If we cancel your order after it has been processed, we will provide you with a full refund.

Pharmacist Only Medicine will require Pharmacist professional intervention before a product can be dispatched. Please place the order first, and one of our Pharmacists will contact you as soon as possible, within 24 hours on Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm to determine if this product is safe, effective and suitable for you. In cases where the product is not recommended or you can not be contacted, it will be deleted from your order and a refund for the product will be processed immediately. We will do our best to have the product arrived at your end in a timely manner; however, we reserve the right to forfeit SAME DAY delivery of this product.

Quantity Restrictions

Due to the pandemic TGA has taken measures to ensure fair and equitable access to medications. This means that community pharmacies will be enforcing limits on dispensing and sales of certain prescription and over-the-counter medicines and may apply limits to other products. In response, pharmacists will be required to limit dispensing of certain prescription medicines to a one-month supply at the prescribed dose, and sales of certain over-the-counter medicines to a maximum of one unit per purchase. These limits apply to particular classes of medicines for which unavailability or an interruption to treatment could cause significant health impacts, or that are expected to be subject to increased demand during this pandemic. These products include:

  • Antihistamines

  • Aspirin

  • Cough suppressants

  • Decongestants

  • Expectorants

  • Ibuprofen

  • Mucolytics

  • Paracetamol

  • Throat preparations (lozenges, gargles)

Products which are restricted will be labelled on the top right hand corner. Please make sure you don't order more than one unit per purchase of these items. In cases where you've placed an order with a quantity that exceeds the limit, we will revert the quantity to 1 unit and provide you a refund of the difference.

Delivery of products

You will receive an email confirmation from Midway Family Pharmacy after submitting your order online. This will have your order number, details of your order and a link to track its progress. However due to the nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee receipt of your order and suggest that you add our email address  in your contact address book to ensure our emails are not sent to junk mail or blocked by your firewall.
Same day deliveries within Ryde area will be done if your order is received by us before 1 PM that day. Deliveries are
done on Monday to Friday between 2pm and 7 pm at the address specified by you. No local deliveries will be done on Saturdays and Sundays.
Deliveries to areas outside Ryde area will be delivered the next business day if orders are placed before 12pm. Midway Family Pharmacy will not be held responsible for any loss or deliveries to an incorrect address provided and inputted by you at the time of the original purchase.

Payment methods

We accept most major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you) as incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed as soon as your order is placed and you will be emailed a tax invoice as soon as you complete your online order. This is done to protect the security of your credit card details, as we do not store your card details at any point. In the event that we cannot fulfil your order, or some items cannot be shipped, we will refund the difference back to your credit card. These refunds may take several business days to appear on your statement.​

Intellectual Property​

Unless otherwise stated, Midway Family Pharmacy and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Midway Family Pharmacy website. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Midway Family Pharmacy for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

  • Republish material from Midway Family Pharmacy

  • Sell, rent or sub-license material from Midway Family Pharmacy

  • Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from Midway Family Pharmacy

  • Redistribute content from Midway Family Pharmacy

Midway Family Pharmacy reserves the right to suspend or deny your access to any or all of the pages on and will not be liable to you or any other party for terminating access. Midway Family Pharmacy reserves the right to temporarily or permanently interrupt or disable some or all services on our website.

Topographical Error

Should we list a product at an incorrect price due to typographical error, or error in pricing information from our suppliers, Midway Family Pharmacy shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price. Midway Family Pharmacy shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled Midway Family Pharmacy shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
